WATER RESOURCE STUDIES IN
CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

The U.S. Geological Survey has been measuring streamflow since 1911 and conducting
ground-water and water-quality studies in Chester County since 1925. Most of the
current hydrologic studies are conducted in cooperation with the Chester County
Water Resources Authority
and the Chester County Health Department.
