Muskets and Cannonballs

The War of 1812 is one of those little know periods of American History. As a side show to the Napoleanonic Conflicts of Europe, it is often called the 2nd War for Americas Independence.

Did You Know?
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Song of Hiawatha" was published in 1855. The name Hiawatha is Iroquois, but most of the stories he drew on for his work were from the Chippewa.
