CS Milan, with the cooperation of the Global Trade Program office and the Export Assistance Centers (EACs) will again organize a US Pavilion at Zoomark 2009, Italy's most important fair for pet products. Pet ownership in Italy is increasing, making it the fourth largest pet market in Europe. As a result, the pet products industry has grown steadily in recent years and is expected to continue this positive trend in the next few years. This rapidly growing sector offers excellent opportunities for American companies. Zoomark International, a biennial show specializing in products and accessories for pets, is the largest pet products show in Italy, the second most important pet exhibition in Europe, and one of the leading shows in the world for this sector. CS Milan, in cooperation with GTP, participated in the 2007 edition of the show with a U.S. Pavilion and the results were impressive. The Pavilion boasted a record 35 US exhibitors with nearly all claiming immediate sales or new business contracts as a result. The participation cost of about $4,800 is for the standard 3x2 sqm. booth. Larger spaces are available at about $730 per additional sqm. Working with the Global Trade Program Office and the EACs, CS Milan will recruit exhibitors, work with the show organizer to contract space and offer the following services to exhibitors: turn-key booths, market briefing and counseling, interpreter and many other services.
