In simple terms, Family Life in the military is exciting, different and difficult. You may follow your service member to exotic lands, move 20 times, move on your own, or stay behind for months at a time. You, may be living on a magical island and tanning on the beach every day or isolated in a foreign country with an unknown language. And even when things seem perfect, you will always be concerned about the survival of your service member and may have no contact with them for weeks.
This section of LIFELines was designed for families and contains self-help articles about how to thrive and survive as a military family.
LIFELines is sponsored by the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs and funded by the Center for Personal and Professional Development.
