Lesson Plan Contest for Educators
This contest challenges sixth- through twelfth-grade educators and preservice educators to submit a lesson plan featuring Fed publications, Web sites, or multimedia materials. Win up to $2,500 in savings bonds. |
Visitors Center and Tours
Guided tours of our Visitors Center and Monetary Museum are offered to prescheduled groups. On a limited basis, branch offices also offer tours
to selected groups. |
Teacher Workshops
We conduct teacher workshops in Atlanta and select branch offices throughout
the year, helping teachers gain a deeper understanding of the Federal Reserve
System's role in the economy so they can better teach their

Publications and Resources
The Atlanta Fed produces a variety of publications and other materials dealing with economic and financial topics including Extra Credit, an online economic and financial education newsletter,
which is designed for classroom teachers in middle and high school, and Katrina's Classroom: Financial Lessons from a Hurricane, a free DVD-based curriculum designed to teach middle school and high school students and their parents the importance of being financially prepared. |
