U.S. Department of Commerce/Special American Business Internship Training Program--SABIT announces its participation in The Presidential Management Training Initiative. Beginning in January, U.S. companies may apply for a SABIT grant to train Russian business managers and scientists in the United States. For more information, call at 202-482-0073.

U.S. Department of Commerce/Special American Business Internship Training Program--SABIT has established the Ukrainian Regional Investment Stimulation Program to train Ukrainian businesspeople, consultants, and regional government officials in regional investment and free market development. Two groups will train consecutively in the United States, beginning in March 1998. Session One (March 14 -April 9) will focus on building materials and construction. Session Two (May 30 -June 25) will cover food processing and packaging. Each session will conclude with a follow-up program in Ukraine.
