South central Ohio generally receives 40 inches of precipitation annually. The winters are mild with snow on occasion, however no accumulation generally occurs. Springtime begins with spring wildflowers and spring peepers. Summers are usually humid and hot, with trees and shrubs in full green foliage. The fall show includes autumnal shades of red, orange, and yellow, with crisp cooler weather.
