NSF helps protect manufacturers and consumers by certifying products and writing standards for food, water and consumer goods, which describe sanitation requirements for their design and construction. The Brussels office assists European and American companies to achieve certification of equipment used in commercial catering and domestic kitchens. We test and certify food contact materials and foodgrade lubricants. We also conduct food safety and HACCP audits for food establishments and the bottled water industry, management systems (ISO) registrations and organic certification. For potable water, we certify treatment devices and distribution systems, also for pools and spas, including pipe and plumbing products.
