Exploring the Underwater Ecosystems of Long Island Sound
In late March, NURC deployed it's new science class ROV, Kraken2,
to explore habitats of eastern Long Island Sound (LIS). The expedition provided an opportunity to acquire HD video of undersea habitats, creatures and dynamic processes of LIS, while also providing a hands-on research opportunity for CT middle and high school educators and students.
