TO PRESERVE YOUR REPORTING OPTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT THE SARC FIRST! If an AOC/AMT, First Shirt, or Commander is told about the sexual assault first, the restricted reporting option is no longer available to the AD Member.

SARC’s manage the Air Force sexual assault prevention and response program at each installation and oversee victim advocates, who have actual contact with victims. SARC’s serve as a single point of contact for integrating and coordinating sexual assault victim care for all USAFA personnel from the initiation of the initial report through the disposition and resolution of issues related to the victim’s health and wellbeing. SARC’s are available to assist victims, handle community outreach, conduct training and work at various prevention initiatives. The SARC will ensure that you have a 24/7/365 support system.

The Academy Response Team (ART) is headed by the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), and together they seek to provide a victim centered and consistent caring response to sexual assault and relationship violence.
