Developing the Environmental Health Workforce and Charting the Future of Environmental Health
Description of Session
This session will initiate a national dialogue on preparing the environmental public health workforce for future challenges and opportunities. The next generation of environmental public health professionals will practice in a rapidly changing world. To meet new challenges and to take advantage of the opportunities presented by future changes, environmental public health professionals will need to be lifelong learners. Lifelong learning programs identify trends and changes in society and in the practice of environmental public health. Trend analysis and understanding change will help to develop needed cutting-edge training and education programs.
