TAKE ACTION:
Early Retirement Falls Short, but there is a fix
Write to CongressCongress has supported bills to reduce the age for receipt of military Reserve Component retired pay in the 107th, 108th, and 109th Congresses. At the end of the last session, 12 proposals were sponsored in the 109th, with a Senate amendment included in NDAA conference discussion last summer. The retirement age reduction is one of ROA’s top legislative priorities. Please take action now by clicking "Write to Congress"  and urge your representatives to support H.R. 4930.

ROA takes on agressive 2009 legislative agenda
Annual agenda items are selected to reflect the current environment our members serve in. Agenda items are member-driven, organized by the legislative counsel, and acted on by the staff with actions such as letter writing, legislative lobbying, and working with the uniformed services. While not fully prioritized or all-inclusive, the agenda provides focus for the association's legislative efforts.
