A well developed low pressure system will push through the area today bring along with it wet, cool, and windy conditions. All areas could see some precipitation with the Cascades, eastern Washington, and the Idaho Panhandle likely to be wet at some point during the day. Thunderstorms are also a possibility as the atmosphere destabilizes. At the surface, beneath any convective showers, will be the threat of frozen precipitation or grauple/snow and small hail. The greatest threat for area wide thunderstorm activity will be during the afternoon hours.
