If your organization would like to host either a summer intern or a full year fellow in 2010, please submit a job description to Ruth Keen

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation offers two exceptional opportunities for Federal Agencies and NGOs to employ bright, innovative Truman Scholars.  Through the Summer Institute and the Truman Fellows Program, our goal is to match your organization with an energetic public servant.

The Summer Institute brings scholars from all across the country to Washington DC where they work for nine weeks with Agencies and NGOs.  The Foundation provides orientation activities, workshops on ethics, leadership, and public service, and also organizes social and service activities with the greater Truman Alumni Community.

The Truman Fellows Program brings scholars to the Washington DC area to work for a year, or more, with an NGO or Federal Agency.  The Foundation provides support for an educational component, offered through a local graduate institution, as well as facilitates public service projects and mentoring opportunities for the Fellows.
