Water System Reconfigured to Work Around Transmission Break in Baltimore County Howard County Executive Ken Ulman announced that effective immediately, all water use restrictions have been lifted. The County’s Department of Public Works worked diligently throughout the day yesterday to reconfigure the water supply system in Howard County to meet current water demands. Thanks to the decreased demand for water due to residents’ conservation efforts and the cooler temperatures and precipitation that swept through the region yesterday, the County’s water supply met all public needs during this event.
