The Future of Preservation

Andy Ferrell participated in a panel discussion on "The Future of Preservation" on April 26 at the Louisiana Preservation Conference in Thibodaux, La. Ferrell's presentation focused on the synergies of historic preservation and environmental conservation. The panel discussion focused on sustainable preservation, smart growth and planning, and post disaster community rebuilding. Ferrell was joined by Bill Dupont of the University of Texas San Antonio and Alison Cascio of the Center for Planning Excellence in Baton Rouge. The Preservation Conference was hosted by the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation and the Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation.
