Following are most of the public fishing waters in North Dakota. These waters are listed by county using the standard county code. Code numbers appear in parenthesis before each county. To locate a county, refer to the map below.
Directions to each lake, main fish species, and camping and concession information are listed. All waters have concrete ramps and good access unless otherwise noted. Special regulations for each lake are noted. Lakes designated as Special Fish Management Area have emphasis on youth fishing opportunities.
Check signs at each area for further restrictions.
