Comments Relative to the National Research Council Report on the 2006 Bioterrorism Risk Assessment

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) commissioned the National Academies in 2006 to review the Bioterrorism Risk Assessment (BTRA).  The Department greatly values the input provided by the National Research Council (NRC) submitted September of 2008 and will incorporate all credible, substantiated and actionable recommendations in future biennial BTRA updates.
