Gathering a Sample

The Maryland-Delaware-D.C. (MD-DE-DC) Water Science Center conducts hydrologic projects that address a wide variety of water-resources issues, including water supply, ground-water contamination, nutrient loading in streams, effects of land use on water quality, and basic hydrologic data collection.

The following list of projects includes water-resources projects being conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey in the States of Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.
