Project and Program Requests

As part of continuing efforts to increase transparency and accountability within the legislative process, below you will find a list of the West Virginia projects that I have submitted to various committees for funding consideration for FY 2010. These decisions have been made after significant discussions and consultations with citizens, organizations, and government entities throughout the entire State of West Virginia, and, in some instances, with federal agency officials.

You should be aware that while there are many projects included on this list, the budgetary climate is such that not every project will receive federal funding or the full amount being requested.

The outcome of these funding requests will be determined as we move through the FY 2010 authorization and appropriations process. As part of the final process, these measures must be approved by both the Senate and the House before being sent to President Obama for his signature.
