USGS Biology Research

USGS Biology Science Programs work together and with others to provide the scientific understanding and technologies needed to support the sound management and conservation of our Nation's biological resources. In addition to the diverse topics each program approaches, multiple areas of research are supported across Biology Science Programs, including threatened and endangered species, and genetics and genomics.
