This course will provide instruction on training materials development for specific audiences, effective training delivery methods, and training event planning and logistical considerations. Participants will explore methods to stimulate implementation of the FGDC metadata standard - Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM) and help organizations make the transition to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Standard. The workshop will direct participants to existing metadata resources for the creation, development and dissemination of metadata. The course is a 2-day session.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Geospatial Metadata -or- Metadata for Managers
