Our business. This enterprise is charged with operating, maintaining and improving the Panama Canal so that it remains the route of choice for our customers. We are the exclusive administrators of the Canal's patrimony and do so in a manner that is profitable, efficient and competitive, with excellence, quality and transparency, while guaranteeing prompt, dependable, safe and uninterrupted interoceanic transit. We invest in training and technology; we grow in order to strengthen the corporation's competitive position and assure future viability. We manage and conserve the Canal's water resources and participate actively in environmental protection, as well as in the sustainable development of the Canal watershed.
