Web Cameras

We have Web cameras located at Miraflores Locks at the Pacific Entrance to the waterway, at Gatun Locks at the Atlantic entrance and another at the Centennial Bridge.

There are cameras installed atop communications towers on the east bank, connected network communications lines to computers with Osprey 100 adapters, WebCam32 software with FTP capability.

The images are sent from the computers to our Web server every 10-60 seconds.

We recently installed 2 new cameras, one for the Canal Expansion Program and a high resolution camera at Miraflores.
