UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

University Scholarships

NACME is widely known as one of the nation’s largest private source of scholarships for African American, American Indian, and Latino women and men in engineering. Over 15 percent of all minority engineering graduates since 1974 have received scholarship support from NACME and are now leaders in government, industry, and academia.

To date, NACME has provided $114 million in scholarships and support to more than 22,000 underrepresented minority engineering students at 160 colleges and universities across the country. NACME helps to cultivate a knowledge-sharing community that successfully applies recruitment, intellectual support, and retention-to-graduation principles among partner universities and to disseminate information to the broader engineering and policy communities.

Through its NACME Scholars Program and At-Large Scholars Program, NACME provides scholarships, conducts tracking and evaluation, as well as establishes and maintains partnerships with academic institutions.

NACME also provides scholarship management services at the baccalaureate level through its Company-Affiliated Partner Scholarship (CAPS) and Fellowships programs for companies and individuals desiring to assist NACME in its efforts.
