Detailed Forecast Discussion |
Today and tomorrow, moderate onshore flow will disperse pollutants in the Sacramento region, and mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers will limit the formation of ozone. Therefore, ozone levels will be Good on both days. Thursday, surface high pressure building over the Pacific Northwest will cause moderate north-northwesterly winds to develop in the Sacramento Valley, dispersing some pollutants. Therefore, despite mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures enhancing ozone formation, ozone levels will be Good. |
