Afghanistan is a stunning country. Arid, yet lush in some areas, the terrain ranges from snow-capped mountains, farm land, to rivelets cutting across the plains. Almost every vista has a view of the mountain ranges that cross through the country. A mix of browns and greens color the landscape, which against the blue sky heightens the intensity of the different shades of each. From our vantage point in the sky as we've hopped around, we wanted to share a sample of what we see. [insert one of the photos from Dave with the tail gunner -- they are awesome!).

And by the way, does anyone really know what time it is when it is Zulu Time? We'd tell you what Zulu Time it is here, but it wouldn't make any difference because no one ever really knows what time Zulu Time is -- which is a good thing!
