When: May 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2009 -- 9:00am-3:00pm
Where: New Hampshire International Trade Resource Center, Portsmouth, NH

You have an opportunity to attend a comprehensive course and become certified in all aspects of export logistics.

*Please note: The Export Logistics Certificate will only be presented to attendees who complete the full 5 day series; partial attendees for individual session ($95 each) will not receive the certificate.

  • Export Documentation including SLI, SED's, pro-forma invoices, pre-shipment inspections and hazardous material documentation.

  • Choosing a Freight Forwarder

  • Door-to-door verses Port-to-Port (LCL) Container Service

  • Free Trade Agreements-NAFTA, CAFTA-DR, Israel, Morocco etc.
  • Free Trade Zones

  • Automated Export System (AES)

  • Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) presentation on customs and border procedure
* This session will also cover compliance issues, i.e. ITAR, but will be customized specifically for the class members’ needs

  • Logistics and Importing
  • Final Exams and Presentations

After successful completion of a final exam, participants leave the program with an Export Logistics Certificate endorsed by the State of New Hampshire's International Trade Resource Center and Southern New Hampshire University. This class has also been aligned with the curriculum of the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) examination.
