CAMEO: Calendar of Events

CAMEO Training

April 6, 17, 18, 20, 2009   East Greenwich, RI at the East Greenwich Fire District.   CAMEOfm, MARPLOT,  and ALOHA update training at its Headquarters, 284 Main St., East Greenwich, RI. Class will run from 0800-1600 hrs each session. Prerequisite: Must have completed initial 40-hour training program.  Classes are full at this time.

April 13-14, 2009  Providence, RI  LEPC #5, Providence Fire Department and the RI Fire Academy.   Basic CAMEOfm and MARPLOT. This 16-hour program will focus on the newest version of CAMEOfm, CAMEO Chemicals, and demonstrations of MARPLOT 4.0.  Emphasis will focus on customizing the program to meet needs required in their Emergency Operating Plan. On-Line CAMEO Training, University of California at Davis Extension

The University of California at Davis Extension provides on-going CAMEO training on-line, covering all areas of the CAMEO software suite.  This self-paced class can be taken from any computer with internet access.  For more information, please call UC Davis Extension at (800) 752-0881 , or click here.

Department of Homeland Security, Office for Domestic Preparedness offers free CAMEO courses, anywhere in the U.S. You can obtain the DHS/ODP course catalog at their web site: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/odp/training_catalog.htm. The catalog is a PDF file that contains a description of numerous courses, and instructions on how to request the training.
