Hanford:
The Psychological Dimensions of Radiation Exposure
This educational video will help clinicians understand
the psychological and social effects of historical
exposure to radioactive iodine from the Hanford
Nuclear Reservation in their patients and how exposure
to environmental contamination can affect the doctor-patient
relationship. The video provides information on
the history of the Hanford facility, the releases
of I-131, potential health effects, and how best
to communicate with those patients who may have
been exposed. The material is chaptered to facilitate
