Current ground-water information maps are listed by county, categorized by water table or confined aquifer*, based on 5 years of data. Click the maps for more information. This information is based on monthly readings from selected wells in the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center. Monthly conclusions are explained in detail in the monthly water conditions summary.
Groundwater levels are used to gauge water conditions and may be used to assess the potential for drought conditions.
