Edge mismatches and artifacts existing in raw USGS data were removed or reduced, the data was converted to a common horizontal and vertical datum, ellipsoid, and unit of measurement (meters). eTOPO Series is derived from DRGs, the images are scanned at 250 dpi, the collars (border areas) were then clipped off creating a seamless mosaic. Hillshade version are also available. eDOQQs Series are 1m black & white or CIR (color infrared) orthophotos mostly from 1990 to 2002. Compressed individual files are available and a 1m seamless mosaic is being produced with completion expected in Spring 2002. A 8m B&W seamless mosaic is available today.
