Excerpt from January 07, 2008: On January 09, 2008, Jose Espinosa and Otis Blunt were arrested in Elizabeth, NJ and Mexico City, Mexico, respectively. Authorities in Union County (NJ) wanted Espinosa and Blunt for Escape after they fled from the Union County jail by chiseling out a cinder-block from an exterior cell wall and then scaling a razor-wire covered fence. Espinosa, a documented member of the Bloods gang, was being held pending sentencing on a guilty plea to Aggravated Manslaughter. Blunt was being held on charges of Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and weapons violations, charges relating to an incident in 2005 during which he allegedly shot a store clerk.
