Get started: Search by Region, Facility or Park.

  • Cabins Campsites and Picnic Shelters can be reserved 90 days in advance.
  • Lodges can be reserved starting November 1st for any time the following year.
  • Large Group reservations are accepted from November 1st to February 1st except at Custer which can be made year round. Group reservations can be made through the call center only.

Items Needed For Your Online Reservation

Pending reservations are held in your shopping cart for a maximum of 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, your unreserved selection will be released.

  • The dates for your reservation.
  • The name, address and phone number of the responsible party for each reserved facility.
  • You cannot change or transfer reservations online, which must be done by calling 1-800-710-CAMP (2267).
  • Reservations that were made online may be canceled by logging on to My Account.
  • Full payment is expected at the time the reservation is made. You will need to provide a valid credit card. South Dakota accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
  • Computer Requirements:

  • For security reasons, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Version 4.5 or higher or Netscape Navigator, Version 4.05 or higher must be used to make a reservation.
  • Make sure that browser supports Cookies and Javascript  are enabled.
  • The reservation Web site uses advanced scripting. If you cannot use this scripting, please call toll-free 1-800-710-2267 to make your reservation.

  • Firewood Alert:

    Firewood from another state may contain the Emerald Ash Borer, which could be harmful to trees in this state. To help contain these destructive pests, we ask that you please leave out-of-state wood at home. Firewood is available for purchase undefined
