Along with A Preliminary Analysis of the President's Budget and an Update of CBO's Budget and Economic Outlook, released on March 20, 2009, the agency has updated this compilation of data on the government's revenues, outlays, deficits, and surpluses for the period from 1968 to 2008. The figures are reported in nominal dollars and as a percentage of gross domestic product.
