U.S. Department of State and Fortune's Most Powerful Women Host Fourth Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership Program
(Apr. 27): Thirty-two emerging women leaders from Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Macedonia, Namibia, Nigeria, Russia, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Vietnam will be mentored by participants of the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit. Study Tour for Afghan and Kenyan Women Drug Abuse Treatment Counselors
(Mar. 20): The U.S. Department of State is sponsoring a study tour for 12 professionals in the area of substance abuse from Afghanistan and Kenya during the week of March 23. This effort is part of the United States’ Global Initiative to provide drug abuse treatment services for the specials needs of drug addicted women and their children living in Afghanistan and Kenya.
