Displays Specification

The ENERGY STAR Version 5.0 Displays Specification was finalized on March 30, 2009. Therefore, the comment period is now closed. Version 5.0 will go into effect on October 30, 2009 for displays under 30 inches viewable diagonal screen size, and on January 30, 2010, for displays between 30 and 60 inches, inclusive.

EPA wishes to thank Partners and other stakeholders for their input and comments during the Version 5.0 development process. Materials related to this process are provided below. Partners and other interested parties who have questions or concerns about these materials are encouraged to contact Christopher Kent, U.S. EPA, at kent.christopher@epa.gov. Consumers may visit the ENERGY STAR products pages for information on qualified displays and other office equipment.
