AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Group, East Hartford, Conn., is being awarded an $18,523,657 firm-fixed price contract modification to provide for chemical mill combustion duct, 345 each, applicable to F-100-PW-220 engine. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by December 2003. Solicitation began March 2002 and negotiations were completed July 2002. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-01-G-0006-0434).

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, is being awarded a $14,828,925 firm-fixed-fee contract modification as a partial incremental change order to a letter contract for Low Rate Initial Production three of the joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System procured for the USAF F-15 and F-16, and for the Navy F/A-18 platforms. Letter contract definitization is scheduled for September 2002. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be completed by March 2004. Solicitation began December 2001 and negotiations were completed August 2002. The Air Force Material Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-02-C-2004, P0002).

ARMY

Lend-Lease Actus L.L.C., Napa, Calif., was awarded on a $9,787,826 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of 65 junior non-commissioned officer family housing units and supporting facilities on Aug. 5, 2002. Work will be performed at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., and is to be completed by Oct. 1, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 75 bids solicited in Dec. 2001, and two bids were received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento, Calif., is the contracting activity (DACA05-02-C-0010).

O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co., Fairfield, Ohio, is being awarded a $5,840,721 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 39 M1114s and 34 M1116s for the Air Force, 17 turret ring kits and 17 gun shield kits for the Navy, and 45 gun shield kits for the Army. Work will be performed in Fairfield, Ohio, and is to be completed by July 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 10, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-C-S019).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

National Gas Distributors during business as TotalFinaElf Gas & Power, Houston is being awarded a $6,978,725 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for 2,251,332 Dekatherms of Direct Supply Natural Gas for Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Work will also be performed in North Carolina. Performance completion date is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire this current fiscal year. There were 186 proposals solicited and 34 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-02-D-7725)
