AIR FORCE

Westinghouse Electric Corp., Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $5,650,000 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to definitize Multi-spectral Upgrades to the Operational Linescan System of the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP). These upgrades will permit the utilization of linescan technology developed for the National Polar-Orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) on currently fielded DMSP assets. The work will be completed May 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95/C-0014, P00054).

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems, Colorado Springs, Colo. is being awarded a $5,371,115 face value increase to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide software upgrades to the Orbital Analysis System's anti-control capability. The work will be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-96/C-0032, P00021).

ARMY

BioPort Corp.*, Lansing, Mich., is being awarded $6,254,000 (base year total), as part of a $29,358,000 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price contract to purchase Anthrax Vaccine Absorbed (FDA licensed product), for the Department of Defense Immunization Policy for all military personnel. Work will be performed in Lansing, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 11, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Frederick, Md. (DAMD17-98-C-8052).

Wynn Construction Co. Inc., Oklahoma City, Okla., is being awarded a $5,308,450 firm-fixed-price contract to design/build a Child Development Center. The new facility will have reinforced concrete floorings and floor slab, masonry walls, steel joist, mechanical equipment room, utilities, paving, and fire protection, and will include childcare rooms, kitchen, laundry room, playground area, and necessary support. The existing facility will be altered to meet

current standards for fire safety and building population density. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kan., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 851 bids solicited on July 22, 1998, and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City, Mo. (DACA41-98-C-0043).

NAVY

C. B. C. Enterprises, Inc., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $17,053,188 firm-fixed-priced contract for the renovation of Building Z-133 to be used as a Consolidated Support Center at Naval Station, Norfolk, Va. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $19,435,188. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by August 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 120 proposals solicited and seven offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-96-C-6076).

Fermin O. Gonzalez, Inc.,* Bayamon, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $12,242,214 firm-fixed-priced contract for repair and renovation of the family housing units in Stevenson Park and Mogate Valley, U.S. Naval Security Group Activity, Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico. Work will be performed in Sabana Seca, and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $1,986,001 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 21 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-96-C-6716).

Tracor Systems Technology, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $6,514,448 modification to previously awarded contract N00140-96-C-H121 to exercise an option to provide an estimated level of effort of 219,397 man-hours of technical and engineering services to support a variety of communication and electronic systems and subsystems. Work will be performed in Chesapeake, Va. (45%), San Diego, Calif. (23%), Fayetteville, N.C. (16%), El Paso, Texas (10%), California, Md. (5%) and Washington, D.C. (1%), and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Div., St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

Tracor Services Corp., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $5,376,574 modification to previously awarded contract N00604-96-C-0041 for ammunition storage, handling and management services at the Naval Magazine, Lualualei, Hawaii. Work will be performed in Lualualei, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.
