2009 NIDA Avant-Garde Award Program for HIV/AIDS Research (DP1) (National Institutes of Health)
The 2009 Avant-Garde Award competition will proceed in two phases. The first phase is a pre-application phase in response to PAR-09-044. Pre-applications will be evaluated by a group of external reviewers. Those investigators whose submissions are judged to be the most outstanding will be notified of the opportunity to submit full applications under this FOA (DP1). The 2009 Avant-Garde awardees will be selected from this group of applicants.

Preventing and Reducing the Impact of HIV in South Sudan under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention )
The purpose of this announcement is to improve the capacity of organizations providing clinical and public health services to prevent and reduce the impact of HIV in South Sudan, and to support such efforts by in-country partners. This includes support for data collection and systems strengthening required to ensure sustainable programs.
