Deputy Executive Director for the House of Representatives

The Office of Compliance advances safety, health, and workplace rights in the U.S. Congress and the legislative branch. Working collaboratively with OOC staff, legislative & administrative offices, and agencies within the legislative branch, the Deputy Executive Director for the House of Representatives furthers the agency's education and outreach program and assists in developing working relationships with the agency's stakeholders. The position requires a law degree (JD) and a comprehensive understanding of the organization and operations of the legislative branch of government. The incumbent possesses strong strategic instincts and experience in consensus-building, as well as strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. The incumbent has substantial experience with the substantive laws of the Congressional Accountability Act. Salary and benefits package is commensurate with federal employment standards.
