BISNIS maintains a small staff of trade specialists in Washington who are results-oriented individuals
with strong knowledge of NIS markets as well as international business / trade issues. All BISNIS trade specialists
speak at least some Russian.
BISNIS hiring is handled through the International Trade
Administration personnel office, which posts all announcements for BISNIS vacancies in Washington and conducts
initial screening. Individuals interested in working for BISNIS should check the ITA job announcements site periodically.
Many individuals seek to forward a resume directly to BISNIS for consideration.
However, BISNIS cannot make hiring decisions on the basis of any resumes received directly to BISNIS.
Overseas positions
BISNIS has a network of representatives located in the NIS. These representatives are outstandingly qualified local nationals who have the language abilities, skills, and understanding to work with local companies seeking business development through collaboration with U.S. companies, identify and evaluate opportunities, and prepare practical reporting in English on market developments of relevance to U.S. companies and their commercial interests in the NIS.
