Wizard of Oz

:60 TV
(featuring USA.gov)

Open on the great hall of the Wizard of Oz. Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Lion stand before the Awesome Oz.

Wizard (voice distorted): What do you want from the All-Powerful Oz?

Scarecrow (shaking): I want a brain.

Wizard (speaking to the camera): People wonder how I got to be the All-Knowing Wizard of Oz. And, sure—smoke and mirrors help, but you gotta have the smarts to go with the show.

Wizard: I go to USA.gov, the official source for government info.

Wizard (voice distorted): Pick up the student loan form to your right! Your other right. NEXT!

Tin Woodman: I need a heart.

Wizard (speaking to himself while searching USA.gov): Medicare … heart.

Wizard (voice distorted): You're covered. NEXT!

Dorothy: I want to go back to Kansas.

(Dorothy puts Toto on the floor and runs to the others. Toto jumps out of his basket.)

Wizard (voice distorted): KANSAS!

Wizard (speaking to himself while viewing USA.gov): Oh, that's a toughie. Back to USA.gov … passport applications, travel advisory …

(Toto pulls open the screen.)

Wizard (speaking to himself while finding info on USA.gov): Uh oh! Looks like the perfect time to find that new government job. Ah!

(The Wizard jumps up to leave.)

Announcer: For federal and state government information, there's no place like USA.gov.

Wizard (turns to the camera and waves while fleeing the scene): Farewell!

Announcer: Now available by mobile.
