Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Vice Adm. Conrad C. Lautenbacher Jr., U.S. Navy, for re-appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as deputy chief of naval operations, resources, warfare requirements and assessments, N8, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Lautenbacher is currently serving as director, office of program appraisal, Office of the Secretary of the Navy, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Lautenbacher was born June 26, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pa.
