Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Lt. Gen. Duncan J. McNabb for appointment to the rank of general with assignment as commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. McNabb is currently serving as director, logistics, J-4, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C.
