Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
BRIGADIER GENERAL
Army Col. Michael A. Dunn has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general, Army Medical Department Competitive Category. Dunn is currently serving as the commander, Walter Reed Health Care System, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
Army Col. Eric B. Schoomaker has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general, Army Medical Department Competitive Category. Schoomaker is currently serving as the commander, 30th Medical Brigade and Corps Surgeon, V Corps, United States Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany.
