Flag Officer Assignments

            Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen announced the following flag officer assignments:

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Moira N. Flanders is being assigned as commander, Naval Personnel Development Command, Norfolk, Va. Flanders is currently serving as director, Strategy Planning and Analysis Division, N14, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.

            Rear Adm. (lower half)(selectee) Scott H. Swift is being assigned as deputy commander, U.S. Naval Forces, U.S. Central Command, Bahrain. Swift is currently serving as deputy executive officer for Naval Aviation and Tactical Air Systems, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.

            Rear Adm. (lower half)(selectee) Michael P. Tillotson is being assigned as deputy commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Norfolk, Va. Tillotson is currently serving as deputy director, Standing Joint Force Headquarters North, U.S. Northern Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.
