The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Cpl. Nicholas L. Ziolkowski, 22, of Towson, Md., died Nov 15 due to enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1^st Battalion, 8^th Marine Regiment, 2^nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C.
