The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of two Marines who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Deshon E. Otey, 24, of Hardin, Ky.

Cpl. Tommy L. Parker Jr., 21, of Cleburne, Ark.

Both died June 21 from hostile fire in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. They were assigned to 2^nd Battalion, 4^th Marine Regiment, 1^st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
