Secretary of Defense Donald R. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
REAR ADMIRAL
Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Thomas L. Andrews III has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral while serving as assistant to the deputy chief of staff for logistics, fleet supply and ordnance, Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Lewis S. Libby III has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral while serving as fleet dental officer, Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Naval Reserve Rear Adm. (lower half) Elizabeth M. Morris has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral while serving as assistant deputy, Bureau of Medicine, Washington, D.C.
MAJOR GENERAL
Army National Guard Brig. Gen. William E. Ingram, Jr. for promotion to the rank of major general. Ingram is currently serving as the adjutant general, North Carolina, Office of the Adjutant General, Raleigh, N.C.
BRIGADIER GENERAL
Army National Guard Col. Thomas T. Galkowski for promotion to the rank of brigadier general. Galkowski is currently serving as the chief of staff, Army National Guard, U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
